, I have all the Action Listener code, Im just not to sure how to update the icon.

Also I think I see how the array of images is probably a better idea.

I then had the idea to make my own "app" on my computer to "act" as if the cards were really in play. I've got a working "Alpha" build, but I want to expand on it and I'm stuck as to how. I chose to use set Bounds because I understood how it worked for a layout.

I did some research, but either it didn't quite pertain to what I was doing or it was something I had never dealt with and got lost as soon as I start it haha. I have tried border Layout, but I didn't think it worked the way I was trying to use it. My teacher showed us to just use "this" in action Listener, but I wasn't sure what the "this" is referencing.

cards flipping like in solitaire or something */ package planechase_app; import *; import event.*;; import javax.swing.*; /** * * @author Alex */ public class Petsche Alex Planechase_App class window extends JFrame implements Action Listener I hoping this will condense itself when I post it as it isn't in the preview and it's a lot of code in my opinion. One is called "generator" and the other is called "random Generator" The random one works, but the generator doesn't yet. EX: Lastly I assume "card Layout" is another layout I can use instead of set Bounds. I think because of how it all displayed I'm going to try and remove everything I currently don't need for this to work, so that I'm not taking up 10 pages when I post code again. I'm not sure what is wrong with the code that would cause it to have a null Pointer Exception. I did a little research and found out (at least one way of doing it) that I can use "array[0]Icon".
